SHAPERX 26-Steel-Bones Mesh Corset Breathable Waist Trainer for Short Torso

This corset is the real deal!!! After reading countless reviews and product descriptions as well as watching YouTube videos I finally just decided to try out corset training!I started with this corset and I am so glad I did! The 26 steel bones are very strong and the hooks in the front are seemingly indestructible (considering everything that it is holding back on me currently)! The strings/ties in the back to adjust the tightness of the corset are thick and sturdy as well! I purchased a short torso size medium even though the description says to purchase a size large for my 5'4" 137lb 31" waisted body and I'm so glad I purchased the medium instead of a large as the size chart directed, because thanks to the Privacy panel on the back of the corset, it allows me to adjust out, (then in) about 5 inches so as I start to shrink it is going to save me from having to buy another corset too soon!!!When putting on clothing this unit gives me an instant hourglass figure and forces me to correct my posture (which people have noticed)! It pushes up my breasts and makes them look perkier as well which is an added bonus! This corset lays fairly flat so you are able to wear it under tight fitting shirts that are dark in color (as lighter color tops show the Bulge a little more than I would like).Since my corset training has started with me wearing this unit for 12 to 16 hours per day I wanted something breathable, so I ordered the mesh one and it is fantastic. I do not get hot in it and I wear it all day even at work with no discomfort. The entire corset is extremely well made and is high quality!I have been wearing this corset for one week now, and I will update my review once I have been wearing it longer! And if it's snatches my waist in as much as I'm hoping it will, then I will also update the photos as well! Wish me luck!

This was my first corset purchase and I hadn't done much research beforehand, which would have been a good idea as there's a LOT to consider. Nevertheless, I feel incredibly lucky with this garment, as it's extremely well made and detailed for the price. There are 26 steel bones if you count the busk, a 1" satin waist tape, 8 grommets each side, flat woven lacing with a minimal amount of "give," and a 6" attached modesty panel. All the seams are well sewn and finished, there's a double layer of sturdy mesh, 6 satin garter hooks, and 2 hanging loops. A lot of detail! The front measurement at the busk is 9.5", and the back measures a little over 10". Perfect for a short waisted person like me! It's not too curvy, suitable for a more straight up and down silhouette with a lower hip-to-waist ratio, but it still does the job of providing a nicely defined waist.The size recommendation was spot on. I made the mistake of not loosening the laces enough when I first tried doing up the front--wish I'd looked at some of the excellent YouTube videos beforehand, as there were no instructions included. Very easy to lace myself, though, once I got the hang of it. On me, the longer back comes pretty far down on my tailbone which is a little distracting though not uncomfortable, and I could use slightly more lumbar curve. The only thing I don't care for is a slight flare out at the bottom front--in my opinion it doesn't give enough support to my lower tummy, though tighter cinching at the hip helps pull that area in.I wear it under clothing and it was incredibly comfortable right from the get-go, though it feels a little bulky. The combination of cotton and mesh isn't slippery, so it does hang up on thin materials and show through them. But I'm super happy with it, as it does pretty much what I was hoping it would.

Let me start off by saying that I NEVER write reviews for anything but I just had to for this! When I first received this, I was surprised by the weight of the package. In a good way! To me, that already screamed quality. Then I took it out of the bag and sure enough, this corset is VERY high quality.I'm not experienced with corsets but I needed one for my halloween costume this year, and all the positive reviews convinced me to buy it. I am so happy I did!! For all my fellow inexperienced corset wearers, please know that you cannot put this on by yourself (at least I can't haha). My husband helped me get the desired tightness as I hung on to the door frame for dear life! The tightness took a little bit to get used to because as I said, I'm not experienced with corsets. But after about 15 minutes, I was used to it. Mobility is a little effected but what do you expect when you're basically squeezing your insides?! I can still bend over, move around, and sit like normal.I was very hesitant to follow the size chart but MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE SIZE CHART! I typically wear a large shirt and based on my measurements (I have a 35" waist), I'm an XXL in this corset. It felt so weird to order that size but it fits perfectly!!If you've read this far, then I really applaud you and urge you to just BUY THE DAMN CORSET! You won't regret it ;)

I got this for a costume on a whim and I am surprised with the quality for the price. Heavy, thick and well constructed and adjustable size.

I’m not familiar with corsets at all, this is my first one. So take my review with a grain of salt. I like how it feels sturdy and it’s breathable since it’s mesh. The sizing seems off though. If I didn’t read reviews, I would have gotten an XL based off the size chart, but that would have been way too big. I got an M and I think it was the right choice. I don’t think the XL or L would have been able to cinch anything. Even the M doesn’t have much room left to cinch. But I don’t think I’m a serious corset user so I don’t plan to cinch down too much anyway.
