High waisted shorts shapewear has excellent compression. I wear shapewear nearly everyday. This one makes a perfect everyday short for smoothing out the belly, hips, and thighs and prevents extra fat or bulging that you can sometimes see in other people when they're wearing the wrong size or wrong shapewear showing bulging in the hips or stomach area. This is easily one of the most comfortable shapewear I have and it is incredibly versatile with removable straps. You can wear this with pants, skirts, or dress.
I really like this style as it allows nee to wear my own bra. That is not an area that needs to be flattened out any more! This feels nice tho. A good amount of compression so that the bumps are no longer visible and my silhouette has nice smooth edges. Definitely recommend this!!
I ordered the SHAPERX High-Waisted Tummy Control Shapewear Shorts in size XL based on the measurements in the size chart. When I opened the package and looked at the shapewear, I couldn't believe how tiny it was. I thought I had received the wrong size, but that wasn't the case. The shapewear was clearly marked XL. I measured the waist of the shapewear, and it was only about 24 inches. Getting the shapewear on for the first time was challenging, much like putting on tight-fitting, medical compression stockings. Once I had the SHAPERX shapewear fully on, I was pleasantly surprised that although the fit is snug, it is not uncomfortable owing to the stretch built into the fabric. I like the amount of compression which smooths out some problem areas and makes me look more sculpted without the use of bones, hooks or zippers. The fabric is reasonably smooth and comfortable against my skin.
